1 kilometre from the coastal resorts of Laganas and Kalamaki and 6 kilometres from the capital, in the area of Laganas, is the airport of Zante which is fully equipped and welcomes thousands of visitors every summer. The airport is linked to the capital of Zante and to other resorts of the island by regular public buses. In front of the airport one can found a taxi rank.
